In the month of May 2010, Markovits will be the Sir Peter Ustinov Professor of the City of Vienna teaching a seminar and a lecture course in the Department of Contemporary History at the University of Vienna.

Professor Andrei Markovits honored with two prestigious awards!

Andrei Markovits was bestowed the 17th GOLDEN APPLE AWARD by University of Michigan Undergraduate students for being the best professor on campus. In keeping with the award’s tradition, Professor Markovits delivered his “Ideal Last Lecture” in April 2007. The lecture was titled: SPORTS CULTURES ON TWO CONTINENTS: METAPHORS FOR MY LIFE..
